Office Lenses have been specially optimised for the office and computer screen making the average working day easier on the eyes. These lenses help concentrate and work without tiring your eyes.

Reading lenses and progressive lenses are not ideal for desk and computer work, contributing to back and neck pain and potentially dry or teary eyes. The Office Lenses have been specifically designed for the office environment, maximising your vision for both near and intermediate work whilst maintaining a comfortable, natural body posture.

We offer wide vision zones for near and intermediate vision at three working distances: 1 metre, 2 metres and 4 metres

The plastic material used to manufacture these lenses and a perfectly optimised lens design guarantee an absolutely natural look and unbeatable comfort no matter how strong the lenses are. Compared to conventional lenses, High Index Lenses are up to 40 percent thinner – making them unnoticeable and incredibly comfortable to wear all day.

Do you work in front of a computer every day for long periods of time or are exposed to blue light from digital devices? If yes, this lens coating is a must have for you!

The Zeiss DuraVision BlueProtect is a new coating for clear lenses that filters blue light in the range from 390 to 440nm, which negates that feeling of tiredness and irritability from prolonged exposure to harmful blue light.

It does, however, let through the “healthy” blue light we need for our bodies. Studies have shown that blue light in the range between 400 and 520 nm (with a maximum at 460 nm) is very important for regulating the level of melatonin and therefore for controlling our biorhythm and wellbeing.

What does polarised mean?

Natural light travels in all directions, so it’s described as “unpolarised”. When rays of light are reflected by a surface such as water, snow, wet roads or windows the reflected light rays become aligned, and be reflected in a single direction, making them polarised.

Glare reflected off transparent or wet surfaces is not only annoying and distracting – it can also affect your vision. Polarised glasses may support and improve your sight in the following instances:

• fishing, rowing or other type of water sports
• Snow sports
• Post surgery
• when affected by general light-sensitivity
