Clear vision is important for everyday life. Our Single Vision Lenses are designed for sharp vision in all distances, offering personalised visual correction across the whole lens, from edge to edge.
On average, we look at our smartphones, tablets or TV screens for almost five hours every day. And we glance at our mobile phones as many as 80 times a day! Small font sizes and the constant switching of our viewing focus from near to far objects demands the utmost from our eyes.
With continual use of screens, digital eye strain becomes somewhat inevitable, with symptoms like fatigue, burning or tired eyes and even headaches.
Digital Lenses offer the perfect remedy to this by enabling fast, comfortable focusing thanks to a specially optimised near zone – no matter where you look. For this reason it is also the ideal glasses for all-day use – and not only for digital natives.
This design can also allow for a more natural transition into later progressive lenses.
Our eyes’ anatomy and visual needs change as we age. From age 40 onwards, we will likely need support for near and intermediate vision.
The near, intermediate and distance zones are all incorporated into one lens with smooth transitions. These lenses are tailor-made for your facial shape, your lifestyle, your career and your visual habits. Individual and one-of-a kind; just like you.
A vast array of factors, technologies and wearer data are incorporated in the making of our progressive lenses, ensuring a faster adaptation period than ever before. No matter if you already have experience wearing progressive glasses or are wearing them for the first time: a pair of progressive glasses tailor-made for you is your best choice for high-quality, natural vision.
Enjoy relaxed natural vision when at work: reading or performing tasks in front of the computer.
Office Lenses have been specially optimised for the office and computer screen making the average working day easier on the eyes. These lenses help concentrate and work without tiring your eyes.
Reading lenses and progressive lenses are not ideal for desk and computer work, contributing to back and neck pain and potentially dry or teary eyes. The Office Lenses have been specifically designed for the office environment, maximising your vision for both near and intermediate work whilst maintaining a comfortable, natural body posture.
We offer wide vision zones for near and intermediate vision at three working distances: 1 metre, 2 metres and 4 metres
Being able to see well is a prerequisite for safe driving because on the road our eyes are working overtime: constantly shifting focus between the street, the GPS and the rearview and side mirrors.
DriveSafe Lenses are optimised specially for driving. These lenses help you enjoy better vision at night or in difficult weather conditions, protect your eyes from reflections and make it easier for you to shift your viewing focus – quickly and often.
Their main features include:
Available in Single Vision or Progressive lens types
People who need strong prescription glasses know this problem: The weaker the eyes, the thicker and heavier the required lenses. The solution: Zeiss High Index Lenses.
The plastic material used to manufacture these lenses and a perfectly optimised lens design guarantee an absolutely natural look and unbeatable comfort no matter how strong the lenses are. Compared to conventional lenses, High Index Lenses are up to 40 percent thinner – making them unnoticeable and incredibly comfortable to wear all day.
Do you work in front of a computer every day for long periods of time or are exposed to blue light from digital devices? If yes, this lens coating is a must have for you!
The Zeiss DuraVision BlueProtect is a new coating for clear lenses that filters blue light in the range from 390 to 440nm, which negates that feeling of tiredness and irritability from prolonged exposure to harmful blue light.
It does, however, let through the “healthy” blue light we need for our bodies. Studies have shown that blue light in the range between 400 and 520 nm (with a maximum at 460 nm) is very important for regulating the level of melatonin and therefore for controlling our biorhythm and wellbeing.
Make sure only harmful blue light is being filtered whilst allowing the “healthy” blue light through with the Zeiss Duravision BlueProtect.

UV rays are harmful to our long term eye health and are present even on cloudy days. We provide full protection from UV rays up to 400 nm in all Zeiss clear lenses.
What does polarised mean?
Natural light travels in all directions, so it’s described as “unpolarised”. When rays of light are reflected by a surface such as water, snow, wet roads or windows the reflected light rays become aligned, and be reflected in a single direction, making them polarised.
Glare reflected off transparent or wet surfaces is not only annoying and distracting – it can also affect your vision. Polarised glasses may support and improve your sight in the following instances:
