Josefiina (Josie) Karjanmaa

Josie is a compassionate and detail-oriented optometrist who believes that clear vision is one of life’s greatest gifts – one that deserves care, attention, and understanding.

Her calm and reassuring nature allows patients of all ages to feel at ease. With a Bachelor of Vision Science and Masters of Optometry from Deakin University, Josie has gained extensive experience from her previous corporate roles and has a strong interest in dry eye management, preventative eye diseases, co-management with ophthalmologists and specialty contact lenses, and contact lenses – particularly RGPs and Ortho K lenses.

Her approach is grounded in Insightful Eye Care’s values of Connection, Education, and Care – taking the time to listen, explain, and make every appointment meaningful.
